Q. What can I Hire?

Our current hire fleet consists of:

  • Honda NSC50 Vision
  • Honda NSC110 Vision
  • Honda PCX125
  • Honda CB125F
Q. How do I apply?

You can apply from a number of locations on our website, look out for the  red apply button, this will take you through to the application form, once completed we will email you a link to the DVLA so we can check your licence, as soon as thisis done we will be in contact. 

Q. Whats included in the hire fee?

Our hire fees are all inclusive they include:

  • Fully comprehensive insurance.
  • Road Tax
  • 24 Hour AA breakdown & recovery
  • Free collection & delivery
  • VAT
Q. What fees do I need to know about?

You are responsible for any accidental damage to the bike up to our insurance excess of £250 for the Vision 50 & 110 £350 for the PCX125 and CB125F. This could include things such as a punctured tyre or scuffs and scrapes to the bike. 
If you abuse or misuse the bike, or fail to carry out basic maintenance such as topping up oil or using chain lube then you may be liable for the full cost of any repairs.

  • Ignition Key Replacement: If you lose the key, the replacement fee is £30.
  • Tickets, violations processing fee: You are also responsible for any PCN's (Penalty Charge Notice's) or fines during your hire. 
  • Damage Fee: Up to £350 to cover the costs related to any damage.
  • Missing Lock: If our bike is returned and the lock is not on the vehicle you will be charged £15

 

Q, What happens when the vehicle needs servicing or requires maintanance?

What if I damage the vehicle?

All of our bikes come with fully comprehensive insurance so if you have an accident or damage the vehicle you will only be liable for any repair costs up to the excess for your vehicle, for the Vision 50cc and 110cc this is £250, for the PCX125 and CB125F it is £350. Any Costs over and above the policy excess will either be absorbed by Scoots Hire or claimed through our insurance.

Q.How does the Insurance work?

All of our bikes are insured with fully comprehensive cover at no additional cost, simply pay the weekly hire fee and your insurance is covered. ( A policy excess applies, please check your terms and conditions for details)

Q. Can I fit my own accessories to the bike?

Sorry no, our terms and conditions do not permit you to fit any of your own accessories to your hire bike, these might include: top box, heated apparel, stickers etc.
